Instructions to the Students

  1. Chief Guest :Will be annouced shortly
  2. No registration will be done after the mentioned date.
  3. No Spot / Offline registration is allowed.
  4. All students are required to register for the Convocation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 20 November, 2025.
  5. The students, who are not able to attend the Convocation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
  6. Please collect the stole between 10:00 am - 03:00 pm on 12 December, 2025 from the registration desk. The graduates may retain the stole.
  7. Kindly report at the venue at 10:00 am on 13 December, 2025. Those reporting late will not be permitted to enter the Auditorium.
  8. Your digital certificate can be accessed from the National Academic Depository (NAD) - DigiLocker and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). If not registered, you are required to register at https://nad.digitallocker.gov.in/students.

Important Guidelines

To maintain the dignity and decorum of the convocation ceremony, students are requested to adhere to the following

  • T-shirts in any form are not permitted.
  • Sleeveless or transparent kurtis are not allowed.
  • Shawls and stoles are prohibited.
  • Flowers, handbags, or other personal items should not be carried during the ceremony.

Dress Code

While the University does not mandate a specific dress code, the following attire is strongly recommended for maintaining decorum during the ceremony

  • Male Students : Kurta (Preferably Handloom - White, Light Blue, Light Green, Light Yellow, Cream color), Payjama / Dhoti
  • Female Students : Saree of Sober Color and Decent Design / Salwar, Kameez with Chunni

Convocation / Graduation Fee

  • In-person : Rs.5,000.00/-
    Note: Additional Rs. 1,000.00/- for students who wish to avail limited sharing accommodation facility on a First Come First Serve basis at Vizianagaram campus, including Pre-Convocation Dinner and Breakfast. No accommodation facility is available for accompanying persons.
  • In-absentia : Rs.6,500.00/-

General Guidelines

Please observe the following DOs and DON'Ts during the Convocation / Graduation Ceremony. It is our responsibility to maintain the decorum.

DOs
  • Occupy the seats allotted to you in the auditorium as per the schedule.
  • All participants are requested to stand when the procession enters the Auditorium and kindly remain standing until the Invocation is over.
  • All participants are requested to keep standing in their places while the academic procession leaves the auditorium after the function.
  • Kindly maintain decorum during the function.
DON'Ts
  • Do not enter the auditorium after the academic procession has arrived.
  • Do not move around in the auditorium during the function.
  • Do not clap, whistle or cheer while in the auditorium.
  • T-shirts in any form are not permitted.
  • Sleeveless or transparent kurtis are not allowed.
  • Shawls and stoles are prohibited.
  • Flowers, handbags, or other personal items should not be carried during the ceremony.
During the Convocation Ceremony, the University will confer
  • Honorary Doctorates to eminent personalities for their outstanding contributions to society.
  • Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees to graduating students.
  • Medals and awards to academic toppers across various programmes.
